Are you an Aged or Disability Support Worker? You can choose either Non-Accredited or Accredited course options, according to your work requirements. Non-Accredited option is suited for all industry types.
Non-Accredited – All Industry Types
- Customised to meet your organisation’s requirements.
- Online theory studied at home
- Part day (2-4 hours) practical skills training/assessment at Bestwest Care Training Facility.
- Certificate of Participation provided upon completion.
Cost: $125 for Part Unit.
Accredited Unit – Aged Care
HLTHPS006 Assist Clients with Medications for the Aged Care sector includes:
- Online theory studied at home
- Part day (4 hours) practical skills training/assessment at the training facility.
- A workplace assessment at your current place of employment.
- A statement of attainment will be issued on successful achievement of the course requirements.
Cost: $250 for Full Accredited Unit.
Accredited Unit – Disability Care
HLTHPS006 Assist Clients with Medications for the Disability sector includes:
- Online theory studied at home
- A one day (8 hours) Practical skills training/assessment at the training facility.
- A workplace assessment at your current place of employment.
- A statement of attainment will be issued on successful achievement of the course
Cost: $250 for Full Accredited Unit.
Enrolment Requirements:
There are no prerequisites for enrolling in this unit.
As an Elective Unit
HLTHPS006 Assist Clients with Medications course is offered as a stand-alone course/unit or as an elective unit for our Certificate IV in Ageing Support, and is an accredited course where upon completion a Statement of Attainment will be issued.
